تReached Bayern Munich an exclusive agreement with Bayer Leverkusen to secure the early transfer of Jonathan Tah ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup. The celebrated German club announced they have signed Tah for a contract running until June 2029, despite the player remaining under contract with Leverkusen until the end of this month.
To facilitate Tah’s participation in the upcoming tournament, Bayern required approval from Leverkusen. According to reports from Bild, a mutual understanding has been reached, allowing for Tah’s inclusion in the squad.
Leverkusen, however, is reportedly asking for €4 million as a condition for granting that approval. Bayern Munich is set to participate in the Club World Cup in the United States this June, competing in Group C alongside Auckland City, Boca Juniors, and Benfica.
